Baskets are Blooming...

It might not feel like Spring just yet here in New England, but it sure does look like Spring in my dining room! I've enjoyed looking at these, but soon they will be carefully packed and shipped off to a customer in Turkey. They have a long journey ahead of them!

I had the pleasure of working with Carrie of PunkyFaeDesigns on this set of Raggedy Ann and Andy bows to match two Raggedy sets that she made. She surprised me with these beautiful pictures, taken by Lynne of Magical Moments Photography.

Where have I been?

I'm sorry I left this blog rather unattended lately! But I'm back, with lots of exciting things going on.

First I want to share this bow bouquet that I made for a customer who wanted pink, brown and ivory shades. When it was finished, it was my favorite one ever. Of course, that changes every time I make a new one!

I made three more baskets this morning and I'll share pictures next time.

So really, what's been going on? The website continues to be very busy. I'm currently working on orders that were received three weeks ago. Many of you have noticed that I haven't kept up with the recent Gymboree lines, and that's a result of the website being so busy. But if you want a bow for a new line, don't be afraid to ask me. Sometimes the only way I can get to a new line is if someone lights a fire under me to do it! Once I'm back at a reasonable shipping time (one to two weeks) I'll catch up with the lines I've missed.

My design group (BijouCo on eBay and Etsy) has been busy with Spring launches. We just finished our "Mary Mary, Quite Contrary" launch, and next week (March 17) we'll launch again...it's a fun one, with a great giveaway! I'm not sure I can leak the details on the giveaway yet, but I'll post as soon as I can tell you!

But for now, here's a little taste of what the theme might be...
